Agree though, we're all trained by our ex patrol and troop leader- Er Hun Yee to dance spontaneously. Be it chinese, indian, malay or fusion of all.
All pictures are from Alex Ong. Thanks man..

We trained for 3 weeks in different locations - tutorial rooms, exam hall, Damer hall, etc..
The problem was to book rooms for practice. We had to book 10 days in advance, rooms/halls that can fit 19 of us.

The Africans and Caribbeans used songs which I guess you can find in some of the pubs and the Chinese Malaysian used the typical kind of Chinese song.....
River Dance (Irish Song) - played by the 12 Girl-Band

Some complained throughout the whole practice sessions but most enjoyed every single session.
Bising la...

Yeni, Hongkie who studied in Aussie, UK and now in Dublin with her Malaysian boyfriend back in Penang Medical College.

Kat, born in China, stayed in Hong Kong for 2 years and migrated to Canada. Has a Malaysian boyfriend as well. Motherly figure for all the guys. Brought us to shop and bought ice cream for us.
Yeni and Kat were the ones who guided the guys all the way.

Out of the 19, 9 guys, 10 girls and 5 seniors.
Friends like Nabil and Alex who joined us most of the time to entertain us.

Damer Hall is where we attend our clinical competencies tutorials, Bollywood Night, Wine and Cheese Tasting , dance practice , etc...
D-Day

Mansion House. Entrance fee was Euro 8
They sold beer for Euro 5.50 which we can get for Euro 0.90 in a normal convenience store.

Caribbeans. I name them blue men and women.

The guys had their individual peformance. We had nunchuck, fist fight and stick.

Malays.

Indians.

Chinese.

Rasa Sayang....Feel the love.....
-_-
Yeap, that's about what we've done before and during the dance. I've uploaded the video of our dance in youtube. You can go search it yourself.(RCSI International Night 2008) Those which are uploaded there are not that clear. I am trying to edit the 1st class video I have now and hopefully can post it up soon.
Cheers.
Nerding time....
Jeff.
